You can go to a notary at any U.S. Embassy or Consulate. By getting a notarization at an embassy or consulate, you’re required to make a personal appearance, meaning the person requesting the notarization must appear in-person.
The Easiest Way to Get a Document Notarized While Abroad – Whether you’re in a foreign country or at home in the States, you can get a document notarized online with any online notary company. Currently, there are 28 states that have enacted some form of permanent remote online notarization (RON) law:
